Conference "Students at Risk of Early School Leaving - Challenges and Recommendations". Varsaw

The Warsaw Center for Educational and Social Innovations and Training, together with the Department of Educational Policy and Social Research in Education at the Faculty of Education of the University of Warsaw held the Conference “Students at Risk of Early School Leaving - Challenges and Recommendations"

On 24 May, 2024 took place the Conference "Students at Risk of Early School Leaving - Challenges and Recommendations" disseminating the results of the international ERASMUS+ project "Education Co-created through Social Inclusion" (COSI.ed).

The conference included the following activities:

  • Present the Polish and European models for working with students at risk of early school leaving.
  • Provide information on methods developed for working with at-risk students as part of the international ERASMUS+ project "Education Co-created through Social Inclusion" (COSI.ed) and discussed various perspectives on supporting children and youth with challenging educational paths.
  • Deliver insight on (international and national) CCG's role in the project and opportunities.
  • Share experiences from project participants from two implementing institutions using methods from the international project.
  • Offer recommendations based on conducted research.

Finally, a Keynote Lecture took place held by Professor Jacek Pyżalski from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań titled "What is Most Important in Relationships with Young People with Difficult Behaviors?"
