Now published the International Seminar in Brussels Proceedings!

The last seminar organised by the partners in Brussels was a great success. The main results of the project implementation in the 5 countries were shared, the European COSI.ed model was presented as well as the recommendations to include this methodology in education, social and youth policies.

In addition, the recommendations are also spread within the Yerun and EDUC university network, and the feedback from representatives at the conference was that:

  • the local context in which inclusion initiatives are implemented in the project, is crucial, as well as co-creation between a variety of stakeholders.
  • the Equality literacy framework developed in the context of COSI.ed serves as a useful analytical tool in identifying current practices within an institutional context.
  • the “indirect approach” proposed by the project can be used to develop and maintain trust among people involved.
  • collaborative competence groups are adaptable to a range of disciplines in which different stakeholders can meet regularly and co-create

Relationship-centred approach should be supported to maintain balance between those actors, especially in avoiding putting big burden on teachers and administrators.
